Rare Auld Single MALT Scotch Whisky
Distilled at
TAMNAVULIN DISTILLERY
The name ‘Tamnavulin’
means ‘mill on the hill’ in Gaelic. The Tamnavulin distillery
started producing whiskey in 1966 and utilised three pairs of stills
from the outset. Water was taken from the local river, and is actually
the only distillery situated beside the River Livet. Using modern
techniques, Tamnavulin whisky was produced by heating the incoming
wash with the outgoing newly distilled batch of spirit.
